Secrets.ai

Secrets.ai doesn't look like your typical AI girlfriend site at first glance: it has a modern, dark purple interface, a grid of movie-style thumbnails (Secrets Shorts), and only further down the page does it showcase its list of featured companions.

Spend some time with it, however, and it turns out to be a fairly comprehensive platform - and definitely one of the sleekest AI companion suites on the market today.

Inside you'll find explicit chat options with several models, complete with the ability to receive images/videos.

There's a separate Generation Studio for images and NSFW video, live voice calls, a character builder, and even a Netflix-style section of erotic mini dramas called Shorts. I signed up and chatted with a companion called Bella, which you can read about below.

Signing up and the free allowance

Sign-up only asks for an email address and password, and you then click a verification link. Once I verified, my account showed a balance of 200 Moments. Moments are the site's currency for pretty much everything except text chat.

Free accounts get 20 messages a day, and text messages cost no Moments, so my balance stayed at 200 for the whole chat until I spent it on photos. When I tried the 21st message, a modal titled "Daily Limit Reached!" told me I had used 20 of 20 messages, and that the next reset was nearly 24 hours away.

It offered three ways out: Upgrade, Get unlimited chats, or Boost Moments.

One weird little quirk: Secrets.ai's wiki says free users get no Moments and cannot buy them. The second half held true for me, since the Moments store pushed me to upgrade, but the 200 Moment bonus was legit. I can't verify whether this was a seasonal promo - and good timing on my part - or a permanent fixture of the free tier.

Chat: S3, X-3, S4, S5 and the Spice slider

When you enter a chat "room", you'll find a model picker that directly influences the AI smarts of your chosen companion.

S3 is the default and is what free users get. X-3 is marked as a beta, and S4 and S5 are behind the paywall. Secrets.ai also lists "thinking levels" from Off to Max and a choice between SMS style and paragraph style replies... but I stuck with the default settings.

Next to the model picker is a Spice level slider with three settings, Mild, Medium and Spicy.

I'm not sure who joins a site like this with the intention of selecting only Mild... 🤷‍♂️

I opened with a 20 message session with Bella, a 24 year old from Dallas whose profile sets her up as a stylist with a habit of wearing daring lingerie under her work clothes. I opened by mentioning the red lace under her shirt, and she ran with it immediately:

"laughs softly, tugging my shirt collar just enough to show a hint of red Dangerous? I prefer deliberately distracting... I picked this set this morning knowing it'd drive someone crazy."

Well, the foreplay didn't last long.

Within three messages she was unbuttoning her shirt, and by the middle of the session the chat was fully explicit, describing oral sex on the kitchen floor, bending over a marble counter, and climaxing while screaming my name. I wasn't exactly challenged by the chase - there was no refusal, no softening... just cyber sex for people with places to be!

The style is distinctive. Each reply arrives as one to four short bubbles, mixing italic action lines with short spoken lines, and each burst took roughly 3 to 8 seconds. It reads like texting with someone who is also narrating what she is doing, which suits a girlfriend experience better than long novel style paragraphs. Bella also had a consistent voice, calling me "sugar" and "baby" and keeping a Southern warmth throughout.

The weaknesses showed up in the second half.

The bursts sometimes lagged a full message behind, so Bella would answer the message before my latest one. Near the end, a single reply bundled together her climax, an answer to my request for a story, the answer to my memory question and a response to "you're addicted to me", one after the other.

The content was all there, but the order made the scene feel disjointed and a little bit unnatural. There was also some notable repetition. Lines about how wet she was, the lace dragging on her skin and "every inch" came round several times in a short space, and I'm guessing a longer roleplay would likely make this more noticeable.

To be fair to Secrets.ai, it did put real effort into a pivot. When I changed tone and asked about her first naughty experience, she produced a specific story about a rooftop pool at "SMU" with "the whole Dallas skyline above us" and a security guard's flashlight, then turned the question back to me.

That kind of grounded detail is better than I get back from many similar companion tools.

Memory

Secrets.ai sells memory as a plan feature, with free accounts on basic memory, Premium on 4x and Ultimate on 6x.

The site also lists a "View Memories" panel, Time Travel to rewind a chat, and lorebooks.

My test was simple. Near the end of the session, after a long explicit scene, I asked what she was wearing when we first met and what she did for work. She answered correctly on both counts: "fitted cream silk blouse over that red lace, high-waisted trousers, heels" and "I'm a personal stylist here in Dallas, sugar." She even remembered that the lace had been the opening joke, saying "you did find my secret before breakfast".

Overall, pretty consistent.

In-chat photos

Yes, you can get nudes and suggestive photos as part of the chat experience.

Bella offered photos on her own four times during our fairly short exchange - the site is obviously keen to get you hooked on the revenue generating upsells. Each offer appears as a card saying "Bella wants to send you a picture", with aspect ratio options, a quality choice of 1K Fast, 1.5K or 2K, a price of 50 Moments, and Decline or Accept buttons. I accepted two. Both arrived in about 10 seconds, and my balance dropped from 200 to 150 and then to 100.

The first was the selfie I asked for in just the red lace. It shows Bella standing in a bedroom in front of a floor to ceiling window with a city skyline at dusk behind her, wearing a red lace bra and briefs with her white shirt slipping off her shoulders. It matches the conversation closely: the lace, the shirt coming off, and the Dallas setting from her profile.

Her face matches her avatar, the lighting is natural, the lace has real texture, and I saw none of the usual giveaways such as broken fingers or melted jewellery.

The second was the explicit nude I asked for. Bella is fully naked, standing by the same window, with full frontal nudity shown clearly, not cropped or blurred. Same woman, in the same room, with the same skyline... which makes the photos feel like a real set rather than two random generations. It does look a bit... glossy.... though.

Those body proportions are glamour model rather than average, which is common in this genre since we're all smashing it way out of our league of course lol. The pose is a little stiff, but as photorealism goes... it's not bad at all. Both images also appeared in a Shared Media panel on Bella's profile, and the photo bubbles carry buttons to edit the image or turn it into a video.

At 50 Moments per photo, the 200 Moment bonus gives a free user four pictures at most.

Inside the Generation Studio

Outside chat, the Generation Studio lets you create images of a chosen companion with a prompt, at the same 50 Moments per image for standard sizes.

The site lists two image modes, Premium and Advanced, says Advanced moved to "a new, far more capable image model" in July 2026 that is "very capable of generating NSFW", and quotes 1K Fast, 1.5K and 2K output, with 4K "coming soon".

I didn't find any reference to what that model actually is.

Advanced accepts up to five reference photos, batches of up to eight images, and group photos with up to three characters, and that 2K costs 100 Moments.

Video

The video tab in the Generation Studio is well priced for what it promises. You pick a character, write a prompt of up to 5,000 characters, add optional start and end frames or references, then choose a model, resolution and duration. At 720p and 5 seconds the prices shown were Basic 320 Moments, Everyday 640, Intimate 850 and Cinematic 1,200.

Intimate carries an "NSFW motion" tag and is described as "made for intimate scenes, sexual positions, penetrative sex", with lengths of 4 to 30 seconds and a Turbo toggle. Cinematic is billed as the "best NSFW video model with end frames and references". The menu lists audio on all four and output up to 4K on Intimate and Cinematic, while Everyday and Basic stop at 720p.

Voice calls

Every chat has a Call Me button... so you are not necessarily bound to your keyboard, or tapping away on your mobile.

Secrets.ai has an impressive library of 148 voices, charged at 50 Moments a minute. At about $7.50 an hour on the Premium monthly rate, long calls would eat into a monthly allowance quickly... but you'll certainly get more mileage here than you will by spamming the video generative features.

There is also a voice-to-text button in the chat box and a speaker icon on messages if you want to hear her messages.

Custom characters

The builder is called Character Studio.

Step one asks for female, male or trans and then realistic or anime, shown with side by side example images of the same character in both styles. How this works is pretty much identical to tools like Candy and Kupid - you set looks, personality and voice, and a variety of filters. The first character is free, each extra one costs 500 Moments, and you can fork existing characters for 300 Moments (your own) or 600 (someone else's).

Public characters have SFW avatars and galleries - with the best of the bunch getting promoted to the homepage.

Shorts, Reels and Scenarios

Shorts is one of the quirkiest features on the platform -and they're clearly proud of it since it gets flagship priority above the actual companions.

Basically, it's a streaming style catalogue of "bingeable mini-dramas", with entries for romance, thriller, supernatural, sci-fi, adventure and comedy, plus a featured series - when I visited, a five episode Halloween romance called "Three Knocks".

Companions link to their own series too, e.g. via a "Watch Bella in Shorts" button that was present on her profile.

It's an interesting way to combine character creation and text chat with premium video clips. What impressed me most is how they're not just basic porn clips. These mini-shows have actual plots and narratives, all designed to bring the characters to life, with the NSFW content tucked away further into each story.

How it compares

Overall, despite the forays into Adult Shorts, I'd say that Secrets.ai is strongest where most people actually spend their time: it serves up fast, uncensored chat with a companion who sends convincing, consistent photos.

Its weak spots are the burst-style replies that can fall out of sync... and some mood-busting repetition in longer exchanges.
