Inevitably, he’d find some Photoshop wizard with too much free time and questionable ethics, so he'd send over his image, and hope the resident filthmonger would work his dark magic.
Hours (or days) later, his “nude edit” might reappear, slapped up in a public thread for all to see. Subtlety wasn’t really part of the process.
Well, thanks to AI, things have changed - a lot. Those same guilty curiosities have been crowbarred into sleek, private AI tools like Undressly, which can do in seconds what those old-school pixel pushers took hours to botch.
You can feed this tool a clothed image, and the algorithm predicts what’s underneath, generating a hyperrealistic nude. It doesn't just stop at the classic "X-ray" style clothes removal either. It's also capable of taking a face and transplanting it onto any number of NSFW scenes and poses. In other words... it's a popular choice for Deepfake Porn.
Undressly could (and probably should) be a simple app. But, predictably, the devs are eager to tap into the "virtual girlfriend" trend. When I looked under the hood, I found that undressing was just a small part of the feature set on offer. They've since added in the option to "undress" virtual girlfriends, as well as sexting, and a weird entirely AI social timeline of AI generated porn.
As far as branding goes, well, it's a bit of a hot mess.

There are no free credits for signing up. You have to buy a bundle of credits (starting at 1000 coins for $7.99) or sign up for the premium monthly subscription (1000 coins + premium features, $12.99).
The only part of the site that you can use for free is the sexting chat with Undressly's stock AI characters.
When I tried it, the exchange was limited to a couple of messages and an unsolicited nude selfie (blurred). When I tried to open it, I was redirected to the upgrade prompt.
If you're looking for a free undressing tool, this ain't it.

The site doesn't make clear why the 1000 coins are cheaper to buy bespoke than they are as part of a rolling monthly subscription. It also does a bad job of listing the actual premium membership benefits you're getting.
So let me explain...
Each undressing or face-swap operation costs coins, and the price varies depending on what you’re generating (more complex edits = more coins burned). This isn't a case of simply uploading a photo and removing clothes. You're given various poses and animated clips - or rather, "actions" you can perform to models.
Whatever the case, Premium unlocks everything that is actually worth doing. You get HD undressing results with no blurring or censorship, face-swapping onto porn scenes, AI girlfriend customization, and access to the site’s adult social feed where users share their AI creations.
My Verdict
The honest verdict from AIPornGuy.
Undressly feels like multiple different products crowbarred into a single dashboard.
Yes, you can upload images and remove clothes... but so much of the product is catered towards tinkering with virtual models that I got the impression Undressly would rather disassociate itself from the flagship USP of deep nude porn.
Does it want to be a specialised undressing app, or just another virtual girlfriend sandbox?
After testing the tool, I'm really not sure.
