RedQuill
Adult story writer with CYOA/remix options
What is RedQuill?
A quick overview of what RedQuill actually does.
RedQuill is an AI-powered erotica generator that feels like the natural evolution of Literotica. It combines a never-ending factory line of AI-generated erotica with the excitement and interactivity of a Choose Your Own Adventure story.
RedQuill gives you control over tone, style, and flow, turning what was once passive reading into an endlessly replayable creative loop.
There are two main appeals to this tool: the voyeuristic pleasure of reading steamy fiction... and the addictive fun of shaping your own.
You can browse thousands of community-made stories, remix them into your own, or build something entirely fresh from scratch. The Rewrite and Reimagine tools are the real magic here - you can highlight a paragraph and tell the AI to “make it nastier,” “slow it down,” or “clean it up.”
Those of you looking for a personalised experience? Well, you can edit characters (and names) on the fly, whenever you find a story that tickles your pickle.
RedQuill also comes packaged with a useful Story Components feature.
It’s a sort of community marketplace for writing modules: custom “styles,” “tropes,” and “plot devices” built by users. You can drag these into your project like plugins for your fantasy. One click, and your polite office affair morphs into slow-burn erotica, or your sci-fi romance picks up an extreme vulgarity twist.
These component packs, made by real users, cover everything from “Make it Nasty” to “Onomatopoeia: the sounds of f***in’.”
Ultimately, any adult story generator is going to live and die by the quality of its erotic output. And RedQuill delivers. In testing, story coherence held strong even across multi-thousand-word pieces, and it’s clear the model’s been fine-tuned with a filthy brain.
I couldn't tell whether a story was AI-written, or penned by a human. The writing was hot all the same.
Popularity-wise, RedQuill has a LONG way to go to rival the giants like Literotica.
While the tool boasts of 18 million stories created, and 300K users, RedQuill's top story ("I Let My Bestie's Twin Brother Fuck Me While She Slept Above Us") has a lifetime total of 17,000 views. Compare that to Literotica's top read ("Sitting On My Son's Lap") with over 17 million views.
They are magnitudes apart, but the flip side is: RedQuill has enormous potential to grow.

What Can You Do For Free?
Exactly how far you can go before hitting the paywall.
Even without paying, RedQuill offers plenty to get you started on your erotic storytelling adventure.
Here’s what you get on the free tier:
Instant NSFW Story Generation (Capped Daily) – Anyone can sign up for free and start creating stories right away. The free tier lets you generate a limited number of story paragraphs per day - roughly 5 “quills” worth of content daily, which equates to a short story or a couple of lengthy scenes. I put my daily quota towards an office-based seduction tale that clocked in at 2016 words. Quality was excellent.
Full Access to Community Stories - I'm not sure what the split is between users who come to RedQuill to read the stories vs. those here to create their own. But the ability to read through user-generated tales is a big plus. Free users can browse, read, and get inspired by the entire library of RedQuill tales. There are thousands of stories across every fetish and genre imaginable.
Rewrite, Continue or Reimagine Stories - While my full story rinsed through 5 Quills, I could have quite easily edited, continued or reimagined one of the existing stories. This is a really cool feature that sets RedQuill apart from the giants like Literotica. You can continue any story with specific instructions for 5 Quills, or insert/rewrite sections for 2 Quills.
Basically, the free tier gives you just enough Quills to be able to continue/rework a single story each day - or create one of your own from scratch.
The caveat is that you will need to one-shot it successfully, or you'll be waiting up to 24 hours for your free Quills to refill.
Premium Features
What you unlock when you start paying.
If you're impatient, greedy, or simply looking to spam the crap out of RedQuill for "commercial purposes", you'll need to invest in their premium subscription - which unlocks true power usage.
Here are the current pricing tiers:

There's no value in that Basic package. If you're going to upgrade, Pro is the way to go with over 60% more Quills for just $2 extra.
You can write twice as much as Basic each day.
The Premium package... well, I guess it's worth a punt if you need to generate multiple long stories every single day, or run collaborative projects. I can't imagine this is going to be necessary unless you're using the tool for commercial means.
Note, also, you can get around 33% off the prices above with an annual subscription (instead of rolling monthly).
Premium Members also get access to some basic image generation (for cover art), as well as the ability to turn text into audio (slightly robotic, but fine).
My Verdict
The honest verdict from AIPornGuy.
RedQuill injects real interactivity into the trusty Literotica style of text erotica. You type a scenario. It spits back a scene. You poke it again. It riffs. The loop is fast and fun.
With current model quality, the prose lands as well as many human-written shorts and in some cases reads cleaner and hotter than the average amateur upload. Yes, that will go down like a lead baloon in some communities... but I said it.
Obviously, this is going to be a useful sidekick for erotica authors. It can draft beats, try alt angles, and smash through writer's block like nobody's business. It will also kick off the usual hand‑wringing in the genre.
"To use or not to use..."
The purists will groan (very loudly) but pragmatists will hit Generate and get on with their deadlines... don't be surprised if the Kindle marketplace is subject to an absolute boatload of RedQuill-assisted text erotica over the coming months.
Still, one big strategic caveat sits on the horizon, which will define the staying power of RedQuill (and many similar tools).
Just recently, Sam Altman has said erotica is coming to ChatGPT for verified adults. If that rolls out as stated, the moat for any dedicated NSFW text generator looks pretty shaky at best. Will we actually need these convenient wrappers when GPT is capable of getting the job done within an existing subscription?
Success will boil down to the community aspect.
The devs will need to keep evolving and build a strong, sticky community so it is more than just a clever button that writes sexy lit. They will also need to hone better discovery, creator tools and some remix capabilities that go beyond a single model’s output.
